What Makes Us Different?

There are many kinds of churches: big or small, doctrinal or spirit filled, law abiding or free spirit, traditional or contemporary, cold or welcoming, stately or alive. We at Bethlehem are a community that is small and unencumbered by the trappings of a larger church, while having the save social and ministerial concerns and programs. We view ourselves as a community, like a large family. We function with a great deal of focus on mission. We find joy in what we have and in the process of sharing our love of God with others.

We are Lutheran, and as Lutherans, we believe and focus on what God does for us—his gift in his son, Jesus Christ, and his promise of new life for us. We are not complacent with these promises or assurances. We continue build resiliency through faith, and to build lives through worship, mission, and connection.
