Caring for Creation
Bethlehem has recently formed the Shepherding God’s Creation Team.  Called to be stewards of all that God has given us, this task force will be working on environmental concerns from worship to facilities to education.  In Genesis, God needed someone to take care of the garden.  The humans were made to till and keep the soil.  They cared for the animals and the plants.  Simply put, caring for creation is biblical.

Blessing the Animals Service
Every year we worship outside at least one Sunday in the pavilion with our pets at our side!  The animals receive a special blessing, as we remember and celebrate our interconnectedness with all of God’s creation.
