If you were unable to be with us in worship or would like to listen to a sermon again, Pastor Dan has recorded his Sunday sermons.

Pastor Dan's Sermons

COVID-19 distance worshipping has not stopped our music ministry.  Solos and parts may be recorded and emailed to Esther Cho to be compiled for our virtual worship service.

Please be sure to coordinate with Esther for planning.

Children in Worship page (under worship)

While we do have a nursery, children are welcome in the worship service at Bethlehem.  They are encouraged to follow along with the service, sing the hymns, pray the prayers, splash themselves the baptism water, make the sign of the cross...and everyone is welcome to receive Holy Communion!

Children’s Talk
Every Sunday after the lessons are read, the children are invited forward (even virtually) for a special time, often an object lesson or a song.  The guiding question:  if all the extra words were stripped away, what’s at the heart of the Gospel for the day?

Picking up an instrument
At the end of every service, the children are invited forward again.  This time, they may pick up a small instrument (cymbals, tambourine, triangle, etc.), follow the acolyte holding the light, and help lead our assembly’s procession out of the sanctuary and into the week ahead.
Leading in Worship
Children are invited and encouraged to be leaders in worship.  The youth teach the adults too -- through their joyful presence, participation, and their reverence.  As they walk slowly, read intentionally, sing whole-heartedly, they remind us all that this stuff matters.  Children may be ushers, light the altar candles, read the Scripture lessons, write the prayers, sing or play music, and be assisting ministers (helping with communion, prayers and receiving the offering).

Baptism is an entrance into the family of God.  Many times, couples get separated from their home church as they move to the Washington Area.  Sometimes, a couple or a parent slip away from the church all together and do not know exactly how to participate again, or where they will be welcomed.  Parents welcome a new baby into the family, or they are raising toddlers and want for their children the grounding that a church can provide.

We welcome the opportunity to connect your family with Jesus Christ once again.  We provide baptisms for those that want to unite their child with the family of God.  Simply call or email the pastor to learn more about our baptism ceremony.
